This keeps the blanket comfortable in every season. In a Porto winter, that matters as much as warmth. It comes from lanolin, the oil in the fleece, and it fades with airing.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eWool resists odor, so it needs washing far less often than fleece. Most of the time, airing it out is enough. When it does need a wash, use a wool cycle and wool detergent, then dry it flat.
